Carly’s Story
Carly Collari is a USDF medalist and a graduate of UMass Amherst’s Stockbridge School of Agriculture with a degree in Equine Science and Business Management. After graduating she worked under an FEI trainer and USDF gold medalist before moving to San Diego, California, where she spent seven years riding under Birthe Laufer, Christine Traurig, Lientje Schueler, and Steffen Peters.
During this time she ran her own small dressage program out of beautiful Caballos Del Mar in Encinitas, California, where her student went on to win San Diego chapter high point and year-end championships.
On recommendation from Christine and Birthe, Carly left San Diego in 2019 to pursue her riding education in Voerde, Germany where she spent a year riding for Johann Hinnemann.
Carly continues her classical education by training regularly with Patrick Burssens and Heather Blitz and through the USDF ‘L’ Program, trainers conferences, and clinics.
